BEACON (03) - The City of Beacon Fire Department was dispatched for a report of juveniles setting a porch on fire of a vacant building located on Liberty St. Upon arrival companies found a porch on fire in the rear of a vacant 2.5 story 20x50 private dwelling. One hand line was stretched and used to quickly knock down the fire which had minor extension into the dwelling.
