BEACON (21 January 2009) - On January 14th at about 6pm, Tower Ladder 33-45 took in a reported stabbing at 41 Teller Avenue. Upon arrival the company found a subject with a minor stab wound to the back. The patient RMAed and was not transported to a hospital.

Later on in the month, on the 21st, at around 8pm, Engine 33-12 was dispatched to 124 South Chestnut for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival of City Police, they found an active knife fight and quickly subdued/ arrested the suspect. The suspect stabbed the victim in the abdominal region and was transported to an area hospital via ALS in serious condition.
