BEACON (14 April 2010) - At about 9am, Engine 33-12 was dispatched on automatic mutual aid to 7 Van Ness Road, just over the city line in the Chelsea Fire District. Upon arrival of Engine 33-12, they found fire in the second floor of a 1 1/2 story residential house. At this time Chelsea command transmitted a 2nd alarm.

The company quickly streached one line and held the fire to the room of origin. The fire was brougt under control in about 15 minutes from the original dispatch and most of the 2nd alarm companies were returned prior to their arrival.
