BEACON (6 May2010) - At about 5:30pm, Rescue 33-55 was dispatched to 26 South Chestnut to provide support to City Police who were operating at a barricaded subject in the residence. Upon arrival of Rescue 33-55, they provided rehab support to the police operation and stood by to provide lighting support if the incident went into the night.

About 30 minutes later, Tower Ladder 33-45 was special called to the scene to provide ladders to the roof of an adjacent car wash to place a sniper on the roof.

Just after 7pm, the subject gave up without incident and walked out of the residence with his hands up.
