BEACON (4/11/06) - A busy day of runs finished out with a large building collapse. At about 3:30p, a building collapse assignment was dispatched for 544 Main Street. Upon arrival of Chief Joseph, 33-1, he reported a 150x50 3 story building under construction that has an exterior wall that is bowing out about 2 feet with a partial collapse.

Units remained on the scene while the contractor determined that the structure will have to come down and be rebuilt. Units stood by as they excavated the front end of the building. There were no injuries at the incident.
